Cycle: Safeguard, Preserve, Protect, and Disarm
This cycle explores the meanings of “safeguard, preserve, protect, and disarm.” These four terms represent a specific kind of protection that can be not only physical but also emotional and mental. “Safeguard” means to care for and protect something or someone, while “preserve” aims to maintain or keep something intact. Protecting is the active act of shielding someone or something from harm, while disarming means taking away the weapons or power of someone who poses a threat. Together, these terms form a comprehensive concept of protection that is important for both the individual and society.
“The Kiss”
“The Kiss” is thus a visual meditation on the universal themes of love, freedom, and transformation. It is a call to connect with one’s inner self, to embrace the beauty of relationships, and to spread one’s wings to explore new horizons. In this work, I find hope that viewers will see the opportunity to transcend the boundaries of the ordinary through the power of love and experience the magic of life in all its facets.
