Cycle: Lifelines

My artistic work moves within the tension between abstract-organic painting, drawing on elements of abstract expressionism, biomorphic abstraction, and surreal imagery. At its core lies constant transformation — as a mirror of the change that defines life. Light and shadow are employed not merely as compositional tools, but understood as metaphors for duality, depth, and hope.

Each painting invites a new way of seeing and becomes a living dialogue between artist and viewer. Personal experiences merge with collective themes such as loss, hope, and the search for identity. Intuitive line work and color give the works emotional depth and openness to individual interpretation.

This cycle functions as an open gateway to hidden stories and a deeper understanding of human experience. The paintings shift with every gaze, inviting the viewer to pause, reflect, and recognize their own lifelines. By connecting personal experience with archetypal motifs, a space of universal belonging emerges.

The boundary drawn by a line is understood here not as a limitation, but as an invitation to venture into the new. After many years of painting, I discovered — almost by chance — a way to unite my profession with my art, setting yet another process of transformation in motion.

“Silent Expansion”

Transparent forms and luminous color fields unfold like fragile resonances in space. The circles appear to float, overlap, and dissolve again — a quiet dialogue between movement, memory, and inner order.

This work from the Lifelines cycle investigates transformation as an open process, combining biomorphic abstraction with an atmospheric, almost meditative visual language.

„Arc of Becoming“

A luminous, almost corporeal line cuts through the dark space, marking a moment of transition.

The work feels like a trail of energy — fragile and powerful at once — describing the instant when movement becomes form.

Acrylic and oil on canvas, 2026

„Echoes of Light“

Fragments of light and hovering color traces emerge from the darkness and dissolve again into the pictorial space.

The composition creates a quiet tension between visibility and disappearance, pointing to memory as a fleeting yet formative presence.

Acrylic and oil on canvas, 2026

"Eruption of Memory"

Gestural color traces rise from the pictorial space like fragments of an inner event. Between dissolution and condensation, a rhythmic structure unfolds — one in which memory appears not as a looking back, but as a living force of transformation.

54 × 65 cm
Acrylic and oil on canvas, 2026

"Core of Transformation"

A luminous red center holds the composition together, becoming the visual anchor of a multi-layered field of movement. Lines and forms orbit this energetic core, generating a tension between stability and change. The work investigates transformation as a continuous process of condensation, opening, and renewal.

“Trace of Light - Spur des Lichts”

A single line cuts through the dark space like an echo of movement. Light becomes the memory of an action — the trace of a past impulse. Between stillness and dynamism, an open field of perception and imagination unfolds.

50 × 70 cm
Acrylic and oil on canvas, 2026

“Emerging Presence - Auftauchende Präsenz”

From the dark pictorial space, a luminous form comes forward. It appears like a trail of energy that briefly materializes before retreating again into the depths. The work investigates the moment in which visibility arises — as a transition between presence and dissolution.

50 × 70 cm
Acrylic and oil on canvas, 2026

“Resonance in Transition”

It is as if fragments of a memory are slowly rising to the surface.

Forms emerge, encounter one another, and linger for a moment before dissolving and shifting into new relationships. Dark placements act as waypoints along a journey through an inner landscape, while luminous orange accents mark moments of energy, departure, and unexpected clarity.

Nothing remains fixed. Lines orbit forms like life paths, tracing connections and preserving traces of lived experience. Some movements recall the past; others already seem to point toward something yet to come.

Within the Lifelines cycle, transformation becomes visible as a continuous process. The painting tells no specific story, but speaks of the transitions of life itself — of encounters, losses, memories, and new beginnings. Each form appears as a transient state within a larger context; each trace, a seed of a possible future.

"Resonance Field"

Color and form unite into an open space of movement. The biomorphic arcs appear to attract, overlap, and release one another. Despite the lightness of the composition, a dense, rhythmic tension emerges in which every form becomes part of a greater whole.

Acrylic and oil on canvas

„Fragile Balance“

The composition moves between condensation and dissolution. The biomorphic forms seem to support, encircle, and sustain one another in a fragile equilibrium.

Delicate rose, violet, and grey tones generate a quiet tension between weight and lightness. In the upper pictorial space, lines dissolve into open traces — like memories that persist even as their form continues to change.

"Between Emergence and Memory"

Colors gather like fragments of an inner image,
layer upon layer,
touching each other gently
and dissolving again.

The forms appear to rest —
yet beneath their surface
a quiet current flows,
of movement, of memory, of possibility.

Circles hold moments in place,
without confining them.
Everything remains in becoming,
in transition between what was
and what is only just beginning to take shape.

„Chromatic Pulse“

Color sets itself in motion.

Arcs emerge, dissolve, return.

An inner rhythm carries the painting,

letting forms breathe and hover.

Between closeness and distance

a space of rhythm opens —

where color is not seen,

but felt.

„Silent Confluence“

Organic forms glide through an open, atmospheric space.
Fine lines overlap like traces of movement and memory.

Between lightness and structure, a quiet equilibrium emerges.
Part of the Lifelines cycle, in which every line makes change and connection visible.

"Resonance Spaces"

Form becomes movement, movement becomes space.

Lines traverse the painting like energetic pathways along which color gathers, condenses, and dissolves again.

The forms appear stable only for a moment before re-entering the flow of transformation.

The work presents itself as an open field — a state between emergence, encounter, and change.

"In the Current of Colors"

The composition addresses transformation as a continuous process.

Color becomes the carrier of movement, while fine linear gestures make inner tensions and spatial dynamics visible.

Between weight and lightness, stability and change, a contemplative pictorial space emerges.

This work is part of the Lifelines cycle, in which every line is a trace of change and every form a moment within a larger field of becoming.

"Between the Veils"

Colors rise like quiet thoughts,
overlap, blur, resurface.

Circles trace their silent paths,
as if following the traces of something invisible.

and yet everything holds together
in a breathing field of light and feeling.

A space between becoming and passing,
where movement becomes memory.

"Room No. 6"

Forms open like hidden gateways,
as if behind them lay a world that eludes the gaze.

A secret key points the way to a space beyond the tangible —
Room No. 6, the place of the sixth sense.

Here, the invisible begins to take shape,
fleeting, shimmering — like an echo from another reality.

"Euphoria"

Luminous forms drift weightlessly through space,
joined by fine lines of light and movement.

They seem to hover in a moment of departure —
lifted from gravity, carried by pure energy.

in which everything becomes possible.

„Euphoria II“

Delicate lines orbit floating forms,
as if carried by an invisible current.

In their luminous suspension lies a moment of pure lightness —
a release from gravity,
a brief flash of freedom,
before everything is set in motion once more.

"At the Threshold"

Between light and dark, fragile structures unfold,
as if holding their breath, on the verge of transformation.

like traces of an inner passage,
in which the past recedes and what is coming has not yet spoken.

"Forms of Light"

From the darkness, flowing paths emerge,
condensing light into form.
They appear only for a moment,
as if they might vanish in the next —
fragile traces of the living,
illuminating the space between the visible and the invisible.

Oil and acrylic on canvas, 2025

"Organic II"

The work invites the viewer on a journey of reflection, touching on personal and universal themes alike. It is a celebration of transformation — a gateway to new perspectives and an invitation to explore the beauty and complexity of life.

Lines as metaphors for life paths, culminating in organic forms, extend that invitation.

"Where Forms Dream"

"Where Forms Dream" depicts not things, but states — transitions, transformations, possibilities. The merging forms stand symbolically for life as process: nothing is fixed, everything is in becoming. Drawing on Heraclitus and the concept of eternal flux, identity is understood here as something fluid — not a rigid self, but a living stream of memory, hope, and transformation.

The painting opens a space between the visible and the invisible, between earth and sky, matter and spirit. The dreaming forms point toward a deeper, collective dimension of being — a quiet, spiritual plane on which our innermost knowing becomes visible as light, color, and movement.

"Moments"

Like wide-open eyes, circular structures of cool blue and luminous orange settle into a deep, nocturnal blue. These "moments" unite light and shadow in a magical, surreal interplay, allowing personal and universal themes — loss, hope, and identity — to flash briefly into view.

100 × 80 cm
Oil and acrylic on canvas, 2024

"Growing in the Invisible"

Living currents spiral upward.
From the invisible, forms break free.
Waves of energy reveal the ever-renewing flow of life.

The painting breathes in the interplay of concealment and disclosure.

It evokes the subtle process of inner maturation — those often invisible movements within us that grow even when we cannot see them. It is a painting about becoming, which unfolds not loudly, but quietly.

"Growing in the Invisible" depicts the phase of silent development — the moment when change is already underway, though not yet outwardly apparent. In the spirit of magical surrealism with spiritual influence, the painting becomes a mirror of inner processes: hope, regeneration, and the quiet courage to unfold into the unknown.

100 × 100 cm
Oil on canvas, 2025

"Fire Core of Memory"

Spontaneous eruptions of inner truth appear — a state in which past, emotion, and transformation overlap. Painterly gestures feel controlled yet wild.

A field of tension that captures the moment of memory when a suppressed thought, feeling, or story suddenly appears in sharp light.

Light and shadow function not merely as visual opposites but as spiritual poles — hope and pain, insight and repression. In the depths of these entanglements lies the search for identity — not as a clearly defined line, but as a living, open process.

A phase in which emotions are no longer suppressed, but remembered and integrated. It is a work of confrontation and warmth alike — a fire core that clarifies, burns, and makes new things possible. Within a magical-spiritual surrealism, it becomes a symbol of the power of conscious memory: painful, beautiful, transforming.

"Blossoming in Transition"

The forms appear to transform continuously, as if sprouting or opening and closing again.

Flower-like structures condense and blossom into a network of life.

A multilayered metaphor for our constant change emerges — one in which individual stories connect with overarching themes: a gateway to new ways of seeing the familiar.

70 × 50 cm
Acrylic and oil on canvas, 2025

"Biogenesis"

Chaos and order may appear to be opposites, yet they are inseparable.

Chaos is not the opposite of order, but the space from which something new can arise. It challenges us to break through old structures and continue to evolve.

The work addresses existential questions and invites the viewer to reflect on the interplay of chaos and order, origin and development, light and shadow.

"Biogenesis" is not merely a painting — it is a gateway to an introspective journey.

"Between Embers and Shadow"

Within every ember, the potential for something new lies dormant.

Interwoven forms evoke hovering organisms caught in the midst of transformation — recalling germinating seeds or pulsating cells. Loss, hope, and identity are touched upon.

“Blue SEA”

"Blue Sea" becomes a gateway, inviting the viewer to reflect on themes of change, identity, and the universal search for meaning.

"Blue Sea" is far more than a visual representation — it is an emotional landscape, a bridge between personal nostalgia and universal reflection. The work succeeds in uniting the clarity and vitality of the Côte d'Azur with the profound, introspective themes of transformation and identity.

A bridge between outer nature and inner memory.

“Acrobat schöööön”

A cosmic choreography in which every line, every hue represents a lifeline — complex, connected, in constant motion.

A mirror that confronts us with the beauty and tragedy of our human existence. The inspiration challenges and opens a space for spiritual reflection.

The clown and the acrobat as symbols of duality, balance, and the masquerade of life — providing a powerful narrative foundation.

A childhood memory, a melancholic poetry of Rivel, the universal significance of memory, childhood, and the connection between art and life.

"In the Arms of Sleep"

The shifting feeling of sleep and waking consciousness — a state between alertness and slumber.

These are moments in which our mind wanders a kind of borderland — neither fully awake nor deeply asleep, but somewhere in between. A fascinating blend of security and latent dynamism unfolds: one that invites stillness while quietly revealing a life of its own.

"Embryo"

New beginnings, growth, and the yet-unfolded potential within the human being.

It embodies the idea that we are always in a process of transformation — akin to a phase between what has passed and a possible future.

A bridge to the universal cycle of birth, life, and change is thus formed, which also finds expression in the search for identity and meaning.
